Refund policy

At EJS Computers, we strive to provide high-quality products and excellent customer service. This Return and Refund Policy explains the conditions under which returns, exchanges, repairs, and refunds may be accepted.

This policy applies in addition to any rights provided under applicable consumer protection laws.

Return Eligibility

Most standard products may be eligible for return within 14 calendar days of delivery, subject to approval and the conditions outlined below.

Custom-built, configured, personalized, made-to-order, or modified systems are considered final sale and are not eligible for return unless defective, damaged upon arrival, or otherwise required by applicable law.

All returns require prior approval from EJS Computers. Customers must contact us before returning any product and follow the return instructions provided.

Defective or Damaged Products

If your product arrives defective or damaged, you must contact EJS Computers within 7 days of delivery and provide supporting information such as photos, videos, serial numbers, and a description of the issue.

If approved, EJS Computers may, at its option:

  • Repair the product
  • Replace the product
  • Offer a refund
  • Provide another reasonable resolution

If a return is approved due to a confirmed covered defect, EJS Computers will provide return instructions and arrange the return shipping process.

Products damaged due to misuse, accidental damage, improper installation, unauthorized repair, modification, neglect, incompatible components, customer-installed components, or external causes are not considered defective.

Customer Modifications and Customer-Installed Components

Warranty, return, and refund coverage apply only to the original hardware supplied by EJS Computers.

EJS Computers is not responsible for the installation, configuration, compatibility, operation, damage, malfunction, or failure of any hardware added, replaced, upgraded, or modified by the customer after delivery.

Any customer-installed components are installed entirely at the customer’s own risk.

Issues arising from customer-installed components, including but not limited to incompatibility, installation errors, firmware conflicts, improper handling, electrical damage, data loss, or component failure, are excluded from return, refund, and warranty coverage.

Coverage remains applicable only if the original EJS Computers hardware is independently determined to be defective and unrelated to the customer modification.

Installing compatible upgrades does not automatically void warranty coverage.

Non-Defective Returns

Non-defective returns may be accepted within 14 calendar days of delivery, subject to inspection and approval.

The customer is responsible for:

  • Procuring and paying for return shipping
  • Original shipping charges, if applicable
  • Any applicable supplier or distributor fees
  • Non-refundable payment processing fees, to the extent permitted by applicable law

Return shipping labels are not provided for non-defective returns.

Approved refunds may be reduced if products are returned incomplete, damaged, excessively used, or missing original materials.

Return Conditions

Returned products must:

  • Be returned in clean and reasonable condition
  • Include all original accessories, manuals, inserts, packaging, and protective materials
  • Include no missing components
  • Not show signs of misuse, modification, accidental damage, or unauthorized repair

Returns that do not meet these requirements may be refused or subject to a partial refund.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Custom-built or configured PCs
  • Digital products, software, activation keys, or licenses once delivered
  • Products identified as final sale
  • Products damaged after delivery
  • Products returned without prior approval
  • Customer-supplied or customer-installed components

Data Responsibility

Customers are responsible for backing up all personal files and data before returning a product.

EJS Computers is not responsible for loss of data, software, accounts, settings, or stored information resulting from diagnostics, repairs, returns, upgrades, replacement, or service procedures.

Return Process

To initiate a return:

  1. Contact info@ejscomputers.com
  2. Include your order number and a description of the issue
  3. Wait for approval and return instructions
  4. Securely package the product
  5. Ship the product using a tracked and insured shipping method

Returns sent without prior approval may be refused.

Customers are responsible for securely packaging returned products.

EJS Computers is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of approval or rejection.

If approved:

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
  • Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days
  • Financial institution processing times may vary

Refund amounts may be reduced to account for:

  • Original shipping charges
  • Non-refundable payment processing fees, typically around 3%, depending on payment provider and transaction method, where applicable and permitted by applicable law
  • Missing items
  • Damage beyond normal inspection
  • Supplier-related charges

Shipping charges are non-refundable unless required by applicable law.

Refused Deliveries and Undeliverable Orders

If an order is refused, returned, abandoned, or undeliverable due to incorrect customer information provided at checkout, shipping and handling charges may be deducted from any applicable refund.

Limitation of Liability

EJS Computers reserves the right to inspect returned products and determine whether the reported issue is covered under this policy.

Return, refund, repair, replacement, or other resolution eligibility will be determined based on inspection results and the conditions outlined above.
