Subnautica 2, Forza Horizon 6 and More Dive Onto GeForce NOW

Subnautica 2, Forza Horizon 6 and More Dive Onto GeForce NOW

Subnautica 2 Splashes Onto GeForce NOW

Subnautica 2 is launching day and date on GeForce NOW, which means you can dive into its alien oceans from almost any device right at release. There is no need for a powerful gaming PC or long downloads. If you own the game on a supported store, you can stream it straight from the cloud.

This new entry in the Subnautica series is a shared world survival adventure set in a mysterious alien ocean. The focus is on exploration, creativity and staying alive in a beautiful but dangerous underwater world.

You will explore a vast dynamic seascape filled with reefs, deep trenches, storms and hidden ruins. Each area is designed to be swum through, studied and slowly tamed as you gather resources and learn the environment.

Key gameplay elements include:

  • Story driven missions that guide you deeper into the planet and its secrets
  • Resource rich biomes that reward exploration and risk taking
  • Base building both above and below the surface to create safe havens
  • Cooperative or solo play so you can explore alone or with friends

Creatures range from small and curious to absolutely colossal. Some will ignore you, some will observe you, and some will treat you like lunch. Learning how to survive among them is part of the fun.

On GeForce NOW the emphasis is on visual quality and smooth performance. Because the game runs on powerful cloud GPUs, members can enjoy crisp detail, fluid motion and fast loading even on lower end hardware, laptops or mobile devices. You simply log in, hit play and jump straight into the ocean without worrying about hardware upgrades or patches.

For players just getting into PC gaming, this is a strong example of how cloud gaming can remove the usual barriers. You can enjoy a demanding modern title with high settings while only running a lightweight client on your own device.

Hitman World of Assassination Gets Cloud Exclusive Rewards

Hitman World of Assassination is also getting special love on GeForce NOW with a limited time reward event. These rewards add a stylish and chaotic twist to Agent 47's arsenal and are available based on your GeForce NOW membership tier.

Here is how the rewards are split:

  • Free members get the Purple Streak Explosive Duck, a remote explosive disguised as an innocent rubber duck
  • Priority or Performance members get the Explosive Duck plus the Bomb Dynamite, a classic TNT bundle made for loud exits
  • Ultimate members get the full bundle, which adds the Purple Streak Fiber Wire for stealthy takedowns and the Purple Streak Swimwear Suit for a bold, stylish look

Rewards are available from now through Sunday June 14, and are handed out on a first come first served basis. To claim them, you log into your GeForce NOW account, open the rewards section in the account portal and redeem your items.

This event lines up with a wider Hitman promotion where Le Chiffre from Casino Royale, played by Mads Mikkelsen, returns to Hitman World of Assassination. There is also a free play window through May 25 where players can try the game and earn a unique 007 First Light reward.

For gamers who enjoy stealth action, GeForce NOW turns Hitman into a plug and play experience. You do not need to wait for big downloads or keep large installs on your drive. Instead you stream missions on demand, which works especially well if you want to quickly jump into a new escalation or elusive target without preparing your hardware ahead of time.

Forza Horizon 6 and More New Games on the Service

The update also highlights Forza Horizon 6, which is rolling out with early access. Players who preordered the Premium Edition on Steam or picked up the Premium Upgrade Bundle with PC Game Pass can hit the road ahead of the main launch. GeForce NOW members will be able to stream Forza Horizon 6 once early access is live on the service.

This is another strong match for cloud gaming. Open world racing games like Forza Horizon can be demanding on local hardware, but via GeForce NOW you can enjoy high quality visuals and responsive controls without a big PC upgrade. There is also no need to preinstall giant game files on your own storage.

Beyond the big headliners, eleven new games are joining or highlighted on GeForce NOW this week:

  • Battlestar Galactica: Scattered Hopes on Steam
  • Outbound on Steam
  • Directive 8020 on Steam
  • Subnautica 2 on Steam, Epic Games Store and Xbox with Game Pass support
  • Blades of Fire on Steam
  • Forza Horizon 6 on Steam and Xbox with Game Pass support
  • Disco Elysium: The Final Cut on Xbox with Game Pass
  • Oddsparks: An Automation Adventure on Epic Games Store
  • Planet Coaster 2 on Epic Games Store
  • Sudden Strike 5 on Steam
  • Super Battle Golf on Steam

This mix covers a wide range of genres including strategy, role playing, racing, automation and sports. No matter what you like to play, the idea is the same: if the game is in your PC library on a supported store, GeForce NOW lets you stream it from powerful cloud hardware to almost any device you own.

NVIDIA also notes that Gaijin single sign on is in development. When it rolls out in a future update, it should make jumping into Gaijin titles on the service even smoother by reducing logins and account juggling.

All of these updates reinforce what GeForce NOW is built for. It turns your existing PC gaming collection into something you can use anywhere, without worrying about keeping up with GPU releases or constantly upgrading your system. For players who just want to jump into Subnautica 2, tear through the desert in Forza Horizon 6 or pull off the perfect hit in Hitman, cloud gaming keeps the focus on games rather than hardware.
