Resident Evil Requiem Gets Luxury Hamilton Watches As High End Collectibles

Resident Evil Requiem Teams Up With Luxury Watchmaker Hamilton

Capcom clearly understands that Resident Evil fans love high end collectibles just as much as they love blasting zombies. For the upcoming Resident Evil Requiem, the company has partnered with luxury Swiss American watchmaker Hamilton to release two limited edition watches tied directly to the game and its main characters.

These watches are not just simple branded merch. They are full on luxury timepieces that appear on the wrists of the game’s dual protagonists, Grace and Leon, in the trailers for Resident Evil Requiem. If you looked closely while Leon was busy chainsawing a zombie doctor in half, you might have spotted them.

Only 2,000 of these watches will ever be produced, which immediately puts them into serious collector territory. The prices match that premium positioning, so this is very much aimed at dedicated fans with deep wallets.

The Two Resident Evil Requiem Watch Models

There are two distinct models in the collaboration, one themed around each protagonist.

  • Grace’s watch: A special version of the Hamilton American Classic Pan Europ.

  • Leon’s watch: A custom Hamilton Khaki Field Auto Chrono.

Grace’s American Classic Pan Europ is described as blending strength and sophistication. It features a strap with gold accents, geometric case back motifs and a bold gold and black dial. Visually it is designed to match her style and presence in the game while still looking like a serious modern luxury watch rather than a toy tie in.

Leon’s Khaki Field Auto Chrono goes in the opposite direction thematically. It is a rugged all black timepiece with a military inspired look. The design includes bullet shaped pushers and a wing detail at the nine o clock position that serves as a tribute to fallen comrades in the Resident Evil universe. The reference will immediately make sense to long time fans who remember characters like Luis Sera.

Both watches are fully functioning Hamilton models that could stand on their own outside of any game branding. The Resident Evil elements come through in the story details, styling and the fact that they are directly tied to the characters inside Requiem’s world.

Time As A Story Element In Resident Evil Requiem

To justify such a high end crossover, Hamilton leans heavily into the idea that time itself is a key character in Resident Evil Requiem. According to the marketing pitch, time shapes the tension of the story, defines the narrative and sharpens every decision the characters make.

That concept lines up with one of the big gameplay reveals for Requiem. The title brings back a classic Resident Evil style mode that uses ink ribbons to save your progress, just like in the original games. That system forces players to carefully manage both time and resources. You cannot just save constantly. You have to plan your runs and live with the consequences of your choices. For long time fans who grew up with fixed save points and limited ribbons, this is a nostalgic return to slower, more deliberate survival horror.

The Hamilton collaboration is positioned as an extension of that idea. The watches are described as story driven timepieces created specifically for the world of Resident Evil Requiem and the protagonists who inhabit it. In other words, they are meant to be more than simple merchandise. They are built to feel like believable gear these characters would actually wear while trying to survive a bioweapon nightmare.

Price, Availability And Capcom’s High End Merch Strategy

Of course, that level of exclusivity comes at a price. Grace’s American Classic Pan Europ will cost around 1,475 dollars. Leon’s Khaki Field Auto Chrono is even more expensive at about 2,175 dollars.

Only 2,000 total units will be made, so once they are gone they are gone. Both models are scheduled to launch on the same day as Resident Evil Requiem itself, which is set for February 27, 2026. For collectors who want the full experience on day one, that means planning and budgeting well ahead of release.

This is not the first time Capcom has explored luxury tie ins for Resident Evil and it likely will not be the last. The company already proved there is a market for expensive gear when it released a real world version of Leon’s jacket from the Resident Evil 4 remake for about 1,500 dollars. Chris Redfield’s coat from Resident Evil Village was also turned into a premium item at a similar price, even though it is a much more understated piece.

These kinds of items are clearly aimed at the subset of fans who want to bring a piece of their favorite series into everyday life, whether that is through a jacket, coat or now a luxury watch. For everyone else, it is still fun to see how far Capcom is willing to go when it comes to blurring the line between in game gear and real world fashion.

If you are a Resident Evil fan who also happens to love mechanical watches, this collaboration may be very tempting. Whether you see it as an outrageous splurge or a serious collectible, the Resident Evil Requiem Hamilton watches show just how big the overlap between gaming culture and high end merchandise has become.
