Elon Musk Receives NVIDIA DGX Spark Supercomputer at SpaceX

The latest advance in artificial intelligence begins where rockets launch. NVIDIA's new DGX Spark supercomputer has arrived at SpaceX's Starbase in Texas. Jensen Huang, the founder and CEO of NVIDIA, personally delivered the first DGX Spark to Elon Musk. As engineers watched and smiled, Musk and Huang met in the SpaceX cafeteria, sharing stories and celebrating this major milestone.

DGX Spark is a powerful AI supercomputer about the size of a small book, yet it delivers incredible performance. It comes with 128GB of unified memory and can run AI models with up to 200 billion parameters right on the device. Unlike traditional supercomputers that stay in large data centers, DGX Spark is designed to be portable. Developers, researchers and creators can take it wherever they work, from robotics labs to art studios.

Inside the DGX Spark, you will find the NVIDIA GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip, which can handle up to 1 petaflop of AI computations. It also includes NVIDIA ConnectX networking for faster connections, NVMe storage for quick file access and HDMI output for easy visuals. Along with the hardware, DGX Spark includes NVIDIA's complete AI software suite. This means users can instantly access AI frameworks, libraries and ready-made models to speed up their projects. Whether you want to create custom image generators, smart search tools or advanced chatbots, everything is ready to go.

What makes DGX Spark special is its versatility and accessibility. Major PC brands like Acer, ASUS, Dell, GIGABYTE, HP, Lenovo and MSI are preparing to offer DGX Spark systems, turning regular desktops into powerful AI workstations. Leading innovators like Ollama in Palo Alto, NYU Global Frontier Lab, Zipline, Arizona State University's robotics team and artist Refik Anadol are already using DGX Spark to break new ground in AI and robotics, art and delivery technology.

DGX Spark is more than just a fast computer. It puts cutting edge AI into the hands of people everywhere, making it easier for anyone to experiment, build and invent. The system will be available worldwide starting October 15 from NVIDIA and its partners. This marks the next step in bringing advanced artificial intelligence to everyone, fueling new ideas and creativity everywhere AI meets the real world.
