SK hynix Develops 3GB GDDR7 Memory Chips That Could Boost Future Graphics Cards

SK hynix has announced that it is working on new 3GB GDDR7 memory chips. These advanced chips are mainly designed for artificial intelligence accelerators but they could also improve the performance of future graphics cards.

With this new technology, it will be easier to create GPUs with larger amounts of video memory, such as 18GB or 24GB VRAM. This upgrade could make next generation graphics cards like the rumored RTX 50 Series Super models even more powerful for gaming and creative tasks.
