Marvel Rivals Season 4 is just around the corner and it promises exciting new content and helpful improvements for players. The new season launches on Friday September 12 2025 after a short server break. A mini update called Season 4.5 will follow about a month later on October 10 2025. Each season only lasts two months so you can expect fresh updates regularly.
Season 4 brings many changes. You can look forward to two new heroes Angela and Daredevil. Angela is a strong tank character who can use different weapons to attack or defend and protect her team. Daredevil will arrive in the mid season update and is expected to be a fast damage dealer though full details are still a secret.
A new combat map called Kun Lun Heart of Heaven will be available in Convergence mode. Two arcade modes called Clone Rumble and Giant Size Brain Blast become permanent so you can play them anytime. You can now also mark your favorite heroes to quickly find them later.
Other improvements include a dedicated button for slow walking on PC a gallery card download feature fun new options for chat colors and moods and new accessories. You can now customize the look of your hero's ultimate powers so everyone can see your style unless you turn this option off in settings. There are also balance updates to make gameplay fairer. Heroes like Peni Parker Thor and Doctor Strange are getting stronger while Squirrel Girl Black Panther and Loki are getting a bit weaker. Some popular characters such as Magneto and Phoenix will stay the same for now.
Season 4 also introduces new team up abilities. For example Black Panther gains a special shield when his health is low. Magik can now link enemies together to slow them down. Angela and Thor can team up with a powerful spear attack.
Excitingly Marvel Rivals is also coming to PS4 alongside the Season 4 update. Placement matches for competitive play are planned for the future to ensure games are more balanced and fun.
With new heroes maps and cool features this season is shaping up to be one of the best times to jump into Marvel Rivals whether you are experienced or just starting out.
