How to Find Water in Grounded 2

In Grounded 2, you play as a tiny character trying to survive in a giant backyard. Just like in real life, keeping yourself hydrated is very important. If you run out of water, a warning will appear telling you to drink or die. You have about two minutes to find water before your character faints. Do not worry though, you can always pick up your backpack if this happens.

The best source of safe water is dew droplets. These shiny drops can be found on the tips of grass blades. Look up and you might spot them glistening. You can knock them down to the ground by hitting the grass with any tool. Later in the game, you can craft a canteen or build a dew collector, letting you store clean water for when you really need it.

Sometimes dew droplets fall by themselves, so keep an eye on the ground as well. You can also find small amounts of water from aphid honeydew, which is sometimes dropped by tiny green bugs called aphids. This liquid is safe and can be stored in your inventory for emergencies.

If you are desperate, you can drink dirty water from puddles, but this comes with a risk. Drinking this water will make your character sick. You will feel less thirsty, but you will also get hungrier much faster until you rest. It is smart to avoid dirty puddles unless you do not have other choices.

There are also juice or soda drops near old cans and trash in the park. These drinks are not as bad for you as puddle water, but they are still not as healthy as fresh dew droplets. Always look for clean water first to stay in top shape while exploring.
