How to Find Bombardier Parts and Boiling Glands in Grounded 2
Share
If you want to make gear that protects you from burning in Grounded 2 you need to find bombardier parts and boiling glands. These items are important for crafting sizzling-resistant armor which will help you explore hot areas and fight special fire enemies.
The best way to get these materials is by hunting bombardier beetles. These are medium-sized bugs with green backs that spit acid. Their acid attack can burn you so make sure to avoid the areas they spray and attack when it is safe.
You can find two bombardier beetles near the Ranger Outpost Snackbar which is a great place for new players to start. Look for one beetle on the stone path between the Entrance and Ice Cream Cart areas. The other one is on the south side of a table to the north of the Snackbar Front area. Use the plastic cutlery under the table to climb up and reach it.
Bombardier beetles are big and easy to spot but they are also aggressive. When you defeat one you can collect bombardier parts and sometimes a boiling gland. Even if the resource scanner is not always accurate you can trust these locations to find the beetles. The beetles will come back every day so you can get more parts whenever you need them.
Later in the game you will find even more bombardier beetles on the stone bricks around the Statue region. Be careful there because these beetles will try to attack you as soon as you enter.
With these tips you will be able to gather enough bombardier parts and boiling glands to craft strong sizzling-resistant armor and keep exploring safely in Grounded 2.
