The leak comes from X user Dr Cacahuette, who posted what appears to be a first look at a new giant Homer skin. The image shows Homer exactly as you would expect him from years of watching The Simpsons: round, yellow, and extremely confident in a tight pair of white briefs.
Above those briefs you can clearly see a small belly button and, more importantly for Fortnite history, two tiny dark dots that look very much like nipples. It is a small detail, almost easy to miss, but in the Fortnite universe it might be a big deal.
Along with the minimal outfit, the leaked info also mentions that this Homer bundle would arrive with several extras:

- A back bling cosmetic
- A themed pickaxe
So yes, you might soon be able to drop into a match as giant Homer Simpson, switching between regular and Lego style, while rocking official back bling and a custom pickaxe. But the reason everyone is talking about this leak is not the accessories. It is the fact that Homer might be the first Fortnite skin to show nipples at all.
Fortnite’s Long Running No Nipple Rule
Since Fortnite launched back in 2017, Epic Games has carefully shaped how its characters look. The game includes edgy skins, horror themed looks, heroes in armor, and a lot of shirtless torsos. Yet there has always been one strange constant. No nipples.
Whether you were playing as a buff warrior, a stylized superhero, or a ripped original character, the chests were always completely smooth. No areolas, no subtle details, nothing. Just a glossy, plastic like look that turned Fortnite bodies into something closer to action figures than people.

Homer Simpson is not a realistic character model. He is a clean, two dimensional cartoon turned into a 3D shape. His facial features are simple lines and dots. His body is just smooth curves and big shapes. That makes it easy to draw or render small details without making them feel graphic or uncomfortable.
In the leaked image, his nipples are not highly detailed or shaded. They are just two small black dots. Because the rest of his design is so minimal, those dots do not stand out in a shocking way. They blend into the overall look, the same way his eyes or ear lines do.
For more realistic Fortnite skins, adding similar details would be much more noticeable. When the model has muscles, shadows, and skin texture, a fully rendered nipple would immediately draw the eye. That is likely what Epic has wanted to avoid, especially given the game’s wide age range and its status as a mainstream live service title.
So Homer is a loophole. He can technically have nipples without changing the feel of the game too much. They are there if you look, but they do not dominate the screen. It is easy to imagine Epic allowing this while still keeping its usual cautious approach for more detailed character models.
