Deutsche Telekom and NVIDIA Introduce a New Industrial AI Cloud for Germany

Deutsche Telekom and NVIDIA have announced the creation of the first Industrial AI Cloud designed specifically for Germany and Europe. This new service will be available in early 2026 and aims to support companies with advanced AI technology.

The Industrial AI Cloud combines Deutsche Telekom’s trusted network and cloud technology with NVIDIA’s leading AI tools and Omniverse digital twins. This powerful platform will help businesses in Germany use artificial intelligence to improve their factories and operations. The cloud is built to be secure and meets strict European requirements so that sensitive data stays protected.

NVIDIA’s founder explained that these new computer systems act like modern factories. Instead of making cars or machines, they create digital intelligence that can make business processes smarter and faster. In the future, manufacturers will need both traditional factories for production and digital factories powered by AI.

This platform uses advanced NVIDIA hardware and software, all managed from secure data centers in Germany. With up to ten thousand NVIDIA GPUs, companies in different industries such as automotive, robotics, healthcare, and energy will have the computing power they need. Starting in 2026, businesses can use this cloud for complex AI tasks, like building digital twins or using predictive maintenance to avoid costly machinery breakdowns.

Industry leaders are already excited to use the new cloud. SAP will connect business software to the cloud, making it easier for companies to build and run their own AI applications. Government ministers see this project as a major move forward in making Germany’s economy stronger and more competitive. Big companies like Siemens, Mercedes-Benz, and BMW plan to use the Industrial AI Cloud for AI testing and development, such as running vehicle simulations or developing new robotic solutions.

Live demonstrations at the launch showed robots and AI systems already working in factories and getting better with the help of the new cloud platform. Companies like Agile Robots and Wandelbots are preparing to use the cloud to manage large sets of data, train robots, and modernize manufacturing processes using digital twins and simulations. This project is seen as a key part of Germany’s push to become a leader in the next generation of smart, AI-powered industry.
