CyberPowerPC MA 01: A Stylish Mid Tower Case With Old School Lighting Knobs

A fresh PC case highlight from CES 2026

PC cases are always eye catching at CES, but CyberPowerPC’s new MA 01 mid tower manages to stand out in a genuinely useful way. Instead of just adding more RGB software to install and forget, this case brings lighting control literally to your fingertips with three physical knobs right on the front.

Designed to fit comfortably in either a clean office setup or a full gaming battlestation, the MA 01 aims to combine a classy look with gamer friendly features and plenty of room for modern hardware.

Design, layout, and build features

The MA 01 is a mid tower PC case with a fishtank style layout. That means a large tempered glass panel wraps across the side and front, putting your components and lighting on full display. It is clearly meant to be placed on top of a desk rather than tucked under it, both for looks and for easy access to the front controls.

The top of the case uses a woven steel mesh for ventilation, helping warm air escape while keeping the overall look clean and minimal. The power button and front controls sit at the bottom front edge of the case, so you can reach them easily without leaning over the system.

Front I O is well suited for a modern gaming PC or work rig. You get:

  • Two USB 3.0 ports for your usual peripherals and drives
  • One USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type C port for fast external SSDs and modern accessories
  • A 3.5 mm audio jack for your headset or speakers

Inside, the MA 01 supports standard PC hardware sizes, making it flexible for many builds. It can house:

  • ATX and micro ATX motherboards
  • Graphics cards up to 420 mm in length
  • CPU air coolers up to 185 mm in height
  • Power supplies up to 200 mm in length

Those specs mean you can comfortably run high end GPUs and large air coolers, or go with an all in one liquid cooler and still have good clearance. For most gaming builds, from mid range to top tier, this case will not hold you back.

Physical RGB knobs and lighting control

The signature feature of the CyberPowerPC MA 01 is the trio of physical knobs on the front. Instead of stuffing RGB controls into software that fights with every other lighting app on your system, the MA 01 lets you adjust the lighting directly from the case.

The three knobs control:

  • Colour: Choose anywhere in the full 16.7 million colour RGB spectrum
  • Brightness: Dial in soft ambient glow or full intensity lighting
  • Mode: Switch between static colours, pulsing effects, or rhythmic patterns

According to CyberPowerPC, all of this works without any additional software. That is a big plus for anyone tired of juggling multiple RGB control suites from different component brands. It also makes quick tweaks easy. If you are streaming, gaming late at night, or just want a different mood, you can change your lighting in seconds without even unlocking your PC.

Because those knobs sit right below the glass front, they add a bit of retro hi fi charm too. It feels more like a piece of hardware you interact with, not just another box that glows.

Looks, finishes, and pricing

CyberPowerPC is leaning into a premium but understated look with the MA 01. The case keeps its lines clean and avoids overly aggressive gamer styling. Combined with the full glass face and dramatic internal lighting, it ends up looking both modern and a little luxurious.

The MA 01 will ship in several finishes so you can match your setup:

  • Satin Metallic Dark Silver, a darker grey option that suits minimalist desks
  • Matte Satin Dark Steel Grey, a classic almost black look for traditional gaming rigs
  • Matte Satin Off White, a cream tone that works nicely with light and beige themed setups
  • Chrome Steel, a special version with a shiny metal finish

For pricing, the standard finishes are set at about 150 dollars. The Chrome Steel model comes in at around 250 dollars, aimed at builders who want a more unique centerpiece case on their desk.

The release window is already confirmed. Both the regular and Chrome Steel versions are expected to launch in the second quarter of 2026. That certainty is a welcome change from concept hardware that never quite makes it to shelves.

Who the MA 01 is for

The CyberPowerPC MA 01 targets builders who care about both aesthetics and practicality. If you like the idea of a clean and slightly premium looking PC that still shows off your components and RGB, this case is worth a look.

It makes particular sense if:

  • You want a desk top PC that doubles as decor rather than hiding under the table
  • You are tired of juggling multiple RGB apps and prefer hardware controls
  • You plan to run a long graphics card or tall air cooler and need generous clearance
  • You are building a themed setup and want colour options like off white or Chrome Steel

Of course, while the case itself sits at a relatively reasonable price for a stylish mid tower, the rest of a high end gaming build can still get expensive. Powerful GPUs, fast CPUs, and plenty of RAM will quickly push the overall budget higher. But as a foundation for a modern gaming PC or creator rig, the MA 01 offers a good mix of style, airflow potential, and component support without relying on complicated software.

If you are planning a new build around the time CES 2026 gear starts rolling out, this case is a strong option to keep on your shortlist, especially if the idea of physical RGB knobs appeals to your inner tinkerer.
