All the Games and Highlights from the PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct

The first ever PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct brought a huge lineup of exciting new games, world premieres, and interviews with developers from around the world. If you missed the stream or just want a simple guide to every game and announcement, this summary covers it all in an easy-to-read format.

This event broke from tradition and partnered with the Tokyo Game Show, which has been a major part of gaming culture for nearly three decades. The showcase featured over 30 games, including 10 making their world debut. Whether you love cozy farming sims with robot helpers, action-packed shooters, quirky puzzle adventures, or anything between, there was something for everyone.

Among the standouts was Blood Refreshed Supply, a remastered version of the classic shooter, and Earth Must Die, a British comedy-filled point-and-click adventure. If you enjoy a good story from a different perspective, Minos lets you play as the famous minotaur in a roguelite game where you set traps to protect your labyrinth.

Cute titles also made an appearance. Moomintroll Winter's Warmth is a charming puzzle game exploring a snowy world, while Farmbotic brings cozy farming together with friendly robot companions. Fans of action games were treated to new trailers and updates for Killing Floor 3 and unique titles like Gravebound, an extraction-shooter with bullet hell chaos.

Some games combine unusual mechanics for new experiences. Awaysis is a physics-based co-op game full of silly fun, and Clawpunk puts you in the paws of a rebel cat fighting through a destructive world. Billie Bust Up adds musical boss battles to its platforming adventure for a fresh twist on classic gameplay.

RPG fans can look forward to Yakuza Kiwami 3, completely rebuilt for modern players and bundled with the new Dark Ties spinoff. Mars Tactics and The Relic First Guardian offer strategy and action inspired by classic games but with their own unique systems and stories. For lovers of creative challenges, puzzle games like MotionRec and Mind Diver bring fresh ideas, while Dyping Escape adds a creepy typing twist.

The show also introduced offbeat and innovative games. Kaiju Cleanup asks you to clean up the mess left behind by giant monsters, and Hotel Barcelona is a stylish roguelike from legendary Japanese developers. You can skateboard as a train in Denshattack, build and manage a fox kingdom in RAEV, or design powerful decks of cards to explore the fantasy world of Doomspire.

For party lovers, Task Time is a new PvP game with hundreds of thousands of mini-challenges, perfect for playing with friends. Survival and horror fans will find options too, like the terrifying spider-filled Huntsman or the mind-bending BrokenLore Don't Lie.

The event wrapped up with montages from publishers like Playsim and Annapurna, who highlighted creative games like Demi and the Fractured Dream, People of Note (a musical RPG), and D-topia, a puzzle game controlled by artificial intelligence. There were also peaceful exploration games like Oku where you travel across Japan, help strangers, and write poetry.

Overall, the PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct was packed with innovative games, interesting stories, and memorable moments. Whether you love classic genres or want to try something totally new, you can look forward to many of these titles launching soon. Stay tuned for more gaming showcases coming later this year!
